Nicole Avon is a Physics teacher with three years flipping experience. Flipping her class changed both the way she teaches and students learn, but has also pushed her to reach out beyond her school and create a diverse PLC. That PLC has motivated her to share her experiences at various conferences, including Flipcon14, PASCD, STEM days, and QCC. In addition, she was chosen as a PASCD 2014 Emerging Leader. Creating a community for learning (both in and out of the classroom) is one of her professional goals and she continually strives toward growing that community through conferences like Flipcon.
