I have taught the last fourteen years at Mt. Zion High School, a central Illinois district with a high school enrollment of 800 students. Each year I have taught specialized math class with high percentages of special education students, while also teaching Calculus AP-BC. I have also taught College Algebra and Statistics for the past eleven years at Richland Community College in nearby Decatur, IL. In May of 2015 I will have been utilizing the flipped learning structure for eighteen months, moving from three sections of Pre-Calculus to now adapting the structure for use in all of my classes.
