One of the main difficulties to teach topics of quantum mechanics in secondary schools is the teacher training. Teachers do not comprehend quantum contents and do not know how to teach them. The proposal presented here seeks to contribute to the research on curriculum innovation by presenting a teaching and learning sequence on topics of Quantum Mechanics for the High School, using the ‘flipped classroom’ .The strategy employed to implement this proposed flipped classroom is Peer Instruction ,in which conceptual tests were applied to a group of High School students attending a Brazilian public school .This course was taught by a group of 12 pre-service teachers on the Physics Teacher Training Course .The prospective teachers attended meetings with the studying group on topics of Quantum Physics, with the aim of providing them with the necessary conceptual tools and preparing them to work with the proposed topics.
