Flipping Content Creation

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Creating the content for our courses has traditionally been our job (even as flipped teachers), while consuming the content the job of our students. However, why can't we flip this too? Students can be part of the content creation process, and we as teachers can give up that control and become collaborators with our students as they create and share content with each other (and perhaps even use it as a springboard to expanding our classroom walls). This workshop will explore and discuss how students can develop a greater investment in their learning, and become collaborators in the creation of the content in your class. Come discuss and experiment with tools to help your students start to generate content in your course. This session will focus on middle/ high school, but all levels are welcome to join.
