How to Flip the Flop: Building a Toolbox for Common Problems

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

“How to Flip the Flop” will focus on ways that educators can identify and overcome issues faced when flipping a class, so that flipped classes don’t flop. Participants are expected to share problems they’ve encountered, and use the room as a Critical Friends Group and Colleague Circle to analyze the problem, pin-point causes and suggest possible solutions. Similar to “If This… Then That…” participants will collaborate to create a toolbox of techniques to use when things aren’t going as planned. For example, IF students are not watching videos, THEN try putting videos in EDpuzzle or EduCanon or create a station for students to watch videos in the classroom.
