Foundation to Flipping: Getting Parents on Board and Students on Track

This session will focus on ways of getting parents on board and tips for making students successful in a Flipped Learning atmosphere. The intended grade levels will be 7-12th grade and all subject areas apply. This session will focus on how to get parents acquainted with flipped learning, how to keep communication lines open with parents and keep them updated on upcoming assignments, and how to keep parents involved with what you are doing in your classroom. The other part to getting parents on board is by making their student successful in your class. The second part of the session will focus on ways that you can help students to succeed in the flipped learning format. This will include guaranteeing homework gets done and students are engaged in the learning process.
