Formative Assessments on the Fly

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The students watched the video. They have their notes. They submitted the Google Form reflection. But did they learn? Are they ready to jump in? What about after the activity-how do you know where each student is at? We must consider all of these questions when building a successful flipped class. Socrative and InfuseLearning are two free digital formative assessment tools with unique features that give students and teachers a clear and quick picture of student understanding. They work from K-College in all subjects, and can be used in 1-to-1 schools or on a student’s cell phone. In this session, we will explore the features of both tools by acting “as the student” and then digging in “as the teacher” to see just how easy these tools would be to implement tomorrow.
