Flipping for Mastery: Your Questions Answered

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

New to Flipping? What questions have you always wanted answered? In this session, you will hear a brief summary of the 3 year journey that Nicole Avon, High School Physics Teacher, has taken to “flip” the learning in her classroom through mastery. From year 1 where the change was not met with completely open arms, to year 3 where a new culture of learning has been established. After her summary, a discussion will take place where your questions about flipping for mastery will be answered. She has learned many “to-dos” and “not-to-dos” on this journey and would like to share those with you in a forum where you take an ACTIVE role by asking the questions that have always been on your mind. So come ready to participate, with questions in hand, and expect to leave the session with some tools to help you get started/continue successfully “flipping” student learning.
