Station Rotation, aka Looping by Grouping!

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

For elementary school teachers, learn how to creatively use rotating learning groups in class to totally free yourself up to work one-on-one with your students. By having a group, say the first half, of your students experience one of your instructional videos, you now have reduced your teacher/student ratio by 50%. Now, you can work one-on-one or in small groups with the second half of your students. Once that instructional video is over, then the kids who have not experienced it, go over to engage with that instructional video. Again, you are totally freed up to work with the first half of the class however you need to. This is the single, most powerful, overnight transformation in education I have ever experienced in my 31 years in the classroom.
